Job Summary

This senior role involves leading an organizational unit within the Multi-Project Management Staff Division of the Police Technology, Logistics, and Service Department (PTLS Pol) in Stuttgart. The Enterprise Cloud Architect is responsible for defining technical and business requirements for complex cloud solutions, designing robust cloud architectures, and overseeing the migration of existing systems and data into cloud environments. A key focus is ensuring data sovereignty through a multi-cloud approach and preventing vendor lock-in. The role requires continuous optimization of the cloud infrastructure, integrating tools like the cross-procedure research and analysis tool (VeRA) into the existing police IT landscape, and exercising technical supervision over networks, platforms, migration, and operations. Candidates must possess a scientific university degree (Master's or Diploma) in Computer Science or a related field, coupled with at least three years of relevant professional experience, strong leadership skills, and expertise in information security.
