Job Summary
This role involves acting as the crucial interface between the IT and Organizational development teams within the Soest City Administration, focusing heavily on modernizing and securing the municipal IT infrastructure. Day-to-day tasks include providing IT consultation and technical support for various projects, including those related to AI, automation, and the Enaio Document Management System. A core responsibility is the technical documentation of the IT landscape, requiring the introduction of documentation software and the upkeep of the internal IT wiki. The successful candidate will also actively enhance IT security by processing findings from vulnerability scans, developing the Active Directory Tiering concept, and managing network components like firewalls, switches, routing, and VPNs. Candidates must have a completed vocational training in IT System Integration or equivalent qualification, coupled with professional experience in IT security and infrastructure, and ideally, initial project management experience.
