Job Summary

The Specialist in MEMS Gas Sensor Technology will focus on developing technically advanced and economically efficient gas sensors for critical applications in occupational safety and medical technology. Day-to-day responsibilities include screening and evaluating new technologies for medical and safety use, planning and leading technology development projects, and creating measurement concepts and algorithms for determining gas concentration and flow (based on principles like heat conduction, density, and viscosity). A key component of this role involves developing essential components based on MEMS (Micro-Electro-Mechanical Systems) and AVT (Assembly and Interconnection Technology), while also protecting creative developments as Intellectual Property. Candidates should possess a university degree in Electrical Engineering or Physics, fundamental knowledge of MEMS and AVT, and fluent proficiency in both German and English.
