This full-time, permanent position as a Medical Technology Technician, starting in 2026, involves ensuring the safety and functionality of critical medical infrastructure at the RHÖN-KLINIKUM Campus Bad Neustadt. Key responsibilities include the maintenance, servicing, and safety testing of various medical devices and systems. A significant component of the role is leveraging IT affinity to integrate these devices with clinical IT systems using standard interfaces like HL7 and DICOM, requiring close collaboration with the internal IT department. Candidates should possess a completed technical qualification in Medical Technology, Electrical Engineering, or IT, coupled with strong knowledge of relevant legal frameworks (MDR, MPDG) and expertise in EDV and network technology. Required Skills
Education
Completed technical vocational training (e.g., Medical Technology, Electrical Engineering, or IT Technology) or equivalent qualification
Experience
- Professional experience in maintenance and servicing of medical devices and systems
- Knowledge of legal medical device regulations (MDR, MPDG, MPBetreibV, StrlSchV)
- Basic knowledge of clinical IT interfaces (e.g., HL7, DICOM) or willingness to train
- Experience in technical documentation and scheduling
