Job Summary

This role is dedicated to providing essential First-Level IT Support for a leading developer of cutting-edge automotive infotainment systems based in Bavaria. The specialist will serve as the primary on-site contact, offering personal support to colleagues and managing technical inquiries received via the internal support hotline. Core duties include the classification, prioritization, and processing of incoming support tickets, ensuring timely resolution or proper escalation based on internal documentation. A significant part of the job involves comprehensive hardware management, including device ordering, inventory control, setup, deployment, and retrieval. Ideal candidates must possess a completed qualification in IT (such as an IT Specialist certification or Computer Science degree), strong technical understanding, and practical experience utilizing ticketing systems like Jira. Success in this role requires a high degree of self-initiative and strong problem-solving skills, coupled with fluent German and English proficiency to effectively communicate with users.

Completed training in IT Specialist (Fachinformatik) or a degree in Computer Science, or a comparable qualification

Experience
