Job Summary

This is a secure, full-time opportunity for a Service Technician to join an innovative team at Alstom in Hennigsdorf, focusing on the future of electrical engineering in rail vehicle construction. The core responsibilities involve the installation, maintenance, and repair of rail vehicles, coupled with detailed troubleshooting and safety diagnostics. Day-to-day tasks include complex assembly work on mechanical and electrical components, such as air conditioning systems, following technical specifications and drawings, as well as the specialized confection of wiring harnesses and connection systems. Candidates must possess a completed technical qualification, such as an Electrician or Electrical Technician, ideally bringing initial professional experience in electrical engineering. Success in this role requires strong teamwork, enthusiasm for new technologies, and fluent written and spoken German to accurately compile comprehensive inspection reports. This permanent position offers attractive compensation and a predictable, family-friendly 2-shift schedule (Monday to Friday).
