Job Summary

This role involves working as an experienced IT Administrator with a strong focus on network technology for a prominent energy technology group in Nuremberg, Germany. The successful candidate will be responsible for testing, evaluating, and implementing new cybersecurity technologies, as well as planning, implementing, and maintaining IT/OT infrastructures with a particular emphasis on cybersecurity, firewalls, routing, and switches. A key aspect of the role is ensuring protection against cyberattacks through the deployment of the latest technologies and supporting the automation and optimization of production processes. Collaboration with the Control & Automation team for new technology integration, along with troubleshooting and continuous improvement of IT/OT systems, are also core responsibilities. This position requires a solid background in IT administration and extensive experience in cybersecurity, with a desire for candidates to have experience in OT cybersecurity and/or automation technology.
