Job Summary
This role involves leading and building a team focused on operator responsibility within infrastructural building management for the city of Dormagen. The successful candidate will be crucial in ensuring the proper and legally compliant operation of technical and structural facilities. Day-to-day tasks include conducting and documenting building inspections, analyzing current operator liability requirements, and determining necessary measures to fulfill operator obligations. You will also be responsible for creating service specifications for recurring inspections and maintenance, managing external services, and conducting risk assessments. This position requires strong leadership, organizational skills, and a deep understanding of relevant laws and standards to contribute to a well-functioning urban environment.
Required Skills
Education
University degree in Facility Management or Real Estate Management, alternatively a Diploma Engineer (FH/TH/TU) or Bachelor in Building/Supply/Energy Technology or comparable field.
Experience
- • Professional experience in a relevant field (heating, ventilation, air conditioning, refrigeration, or (drinking) water supply systems), preferably in operator liability

- Valid Class B driver's license; willingness to use private car for business trips.
