Job Summary

This role involves driving innovation in ceramic materials and components development at the Innovation Center Berlin. The Materials Engineer will be a key member of a project team, responsible for the technical implementation and delivery of R&D project goals, focusing on innovative applications of ceramics and coating development. Day-to-day tasks include initiating new technology projects, exploring novel manufacturing methods from powder to final components, and conducting analytical and lab testing for material development. The ideal candidate brings a university degree (PhD preferred) in materials engineering, several years of professional experience in material development, and specific expertise in Solid Oxide Fuel Cell (SOFC) technology and structural ceramics/coatings.
