Job Summary

This crucial role involves ensuring the continuous, reliable operation of energy technology systems for a leading regional distribution grid operator, actively contributing to a secure power supply and the transition to future energy solutions. Day-to-day responsibilities include the on-site installation, maintenance, and repair of equipment, particularly medium-voltage switchgear and transformers. The specialist will perform switching duties, conduct site-wide inspections, commission new customer transformer stations, and rapidly identify and resolve operational faults. A key aspect of the role is coordinating and supervising external service providers to ensure strict adherence to quality and safety standards. The ideal candidate holds a Master Craftsman or Technician qualification in Electrical Engineering or possesses substantial professional experience in substation maintenance, coupled with strong expertise in grid operations and a Class B driver's license for travel across the network area. This position requires reliable, independent work ethic and a commitment to safety.
