Job Summary

This role offers a responsible leadership opportunity within the stable and future-proof renewable energy sector, focusing on the operation and optimization of a biogas plant specializing in organic waste fermentation. The Deputy Operations Manager will ensure the smooth and efficient daily operation of the facility, including gas processing and electricity grid feed-in. Core responsibilities involve the continuous control, monitoring, and operation of the plant, coupled with hands-on technical troubleshooting, fault analysis, and subsequent repair and maintenance work. You will also be responsible for documenting results, managing material flows, and procuring necessary spare parts and operating resources. Furthermore, this position requires the supervision and leadership of commercial personnel when deputizing for the Plant Manager. Ideal candidates possess a completed technical or agricultural vocational qualification, relevant further training (such as a Master Craftsman or Specialist), appropriate professional experience in plant operations, and strong IT proficiency.
