Job Summary

This role involves serving as a Senior Advisor responsible for strategic planning and implementation of the state-wide administrative digitalization strategy in Berlin. The successful candidate will manage ministerial and fundamental issues related to ICT architecture, ensuring its continuous development in alignment with the state's digital goals (e.g., the Berlin ICT Architecture and its governance). Day-to-day tasks include leading and coordinating the Berlin ICT Architecture Board, participating actively in federal and interstate activities concerning e-Government strategies and ICT standards, and providing expert information and consultation to various state authorities on interpreting the architecture guidelines. This permanent, full-time position within the Senate Chancellery requires a completed scientific university degree at the Master's level (or equivalent) in fields such as Informatics, Law, Administration, or Economics, or eligibility for the higher non-technical administrative service. This is a unique opportunity to directly influence the digital transformation of the Berlin state administration.
