Job Summary

This position calls for an ambitious Research Associate in Optics to drive the development of highly precise optics processing procedures, specifically for cutting-edge Extreme Ultraviolet (EUV) applications. The successful candidate will independently manage and execute complex development projects, taking full responsibility for defined work packages, documenting results, and providing regular progress reports to project leadership. A key function involves supporting the seamless introduction of newly developed processes into full production and collaborating extensively with both internal and external expert teams, including national and international institutes. Candidates must possess a completed university degree in a technical or natural science field, preferably complemented by a PhD, and demonstrable professional experience in developing highly complex systems and processes. Strong knowledge of optics and optical processing procedures is highly valued. The role requires excellent communication, assertiveness, and teamwork skills, offering a permanent contract and high flexibility through mobile work options.
