This role is for an ambitious Test Engineer specializing in Battery Systems, focusing on high-voltage (HV) batteries, as well as 12V and 48V systems, within the automotive industry. The core responsibilities involve creating and evolving a generic test concept for HV batteries and developing innovative test methodologies, particularly those aimed at shortening validation times. You will be instrumental in defining new measurement techniques for electrical, geometric, and thermal testing procedures. Day-to-day tasks include drafting detailed test specifications based on project parameters (lifecycle, features, and functions), optimizing existing tests, and conducting thorough test reviews. The ideal candidate holds a degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechatronics and possesses professional experience in automotive ECU development and testing, including familiarity with relevant standards and tools like DOORS.
