Job Summary
The City of Arnstadt's Construction Yard is seeking a dedicated Head of Urban Construction Projects to lead their 'Building and Civil Engineering' department. This role involves independently organizing work processes for various high-rise and civil engineering projects, including the maintenance of public roads, paths, and squares, as well as winter services. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and executing orders, managing a team, ensuring adherence to safety regulations, and optimizing workflows for economic efficiency. Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training in the construction industry followed by a technical school education as a Master or Technician in Garden and Landscape Construction, Civil Engineering Technician, Road Maintenance Master, or a comparable technical field.
Experience
- Professional experience in a leadership function (ideally)
- Comprehensive knowledge and experience in handling all types of building materials
- Proficient in operating construction machinery, equipment, and tools
