This role seeks an experienced Ornithologist to specialize in mapping and monitoring avian fauna across diverse habitats, supporting critical environmental and engineering projects. Key responsibilities include the systematic recording of breeding, migratory, and resting birds using standard ornithological methods, followed by rigorous data analysis and interpretation. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating detailed expert reports on avian fauna and contributing essential input to legal species protection assessments. To excel, you must possess in-depth knowledge of avian fauna recording techniques, be physically resilient, and be prepared for nationwide assignments throughout the mapping season. A mandatory Class B driving license is required.
