Job Summary

This role involves supporting and administering critical corporate accounting systems for a leading steel technology group, Salzgitter AG. The IT Specialist will primarily focus on managing the SAP FC consolidation software and the Business Warehouse (BW) environment, ensuring smooth operation, process optimization, and robust authorization management. Key daily tasks include preparing monthly reporting input masks, implementing required changes to SAP FC screens, and collaborating on software release changes and new system introductions. The specialist also serves as the main point of contact for IT inquiries from subsidiary companies and handles technical analyses required by external auditors. Candidates should possess a degree in (Business) Informatics or a related IT field, coupled with a process-oriented mindset regarding group financial statement preparation.
