Job Summary

This full-time, permanent position as Digitalization Officer involves spearheading the municipality's digital transformation strategy. The successful candidate will be responsible for the comprehensive planning, control, and implementation of all derived digitalization projects, focusing on expanding and optimizing digital administrative services for citizens. Key duties include managing the Document Management System (DMS), analyzing and optimizing business and administrative processes, and ensuring compliance with e-government regulations (like OZG and BayEGovG). The role also encompasses strategic IT/EDP tasks, project management for specialized procedures, and acting as the coordinator for both information security and data protection, liaising with external officers. Candidates should possess a relevant degree or professional qualification in IT, administration, or economics, coupled with a high affinity for IT, compliance, and organizational strategy, along with proven professional experience in these areas.

Required Skills

Education

University degree in Economics/Administrative Sciences or Business/Administrative Informatics, or completion of the BL II (Employee Course II) qualification, or professional training in an IT/Informatics profession, or successful completion of training as a Digital Economist/Specialization Digitalization BVS, or successful completion of training as an Information Security Officer or Internal Data Protection Officer.

Experience

  • Professional experience in the described areas of responsibility (ideal)
  • Experience in planning, steering, and implementing digitalization projects
  • Experience in procedural support for Document Management Systems (DMS)
