Job Summary
This role is for a Chemical Production Technician responsible for executing and monitoring sophisticated chemical manufacturing processes within a leading technical plastics group. Daily activities include the precise mixing of raw materials according to recipes, conducting chemical syntheses (specifically NCO-terminated prepolymers), and overseeing production reactors. The technician will also be heavily involved in the downstream processing of thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU), including casting, granulation, and preparing samples for quality control using an injection molding machine. Key requirements include a formal qualification in chemistry, process, or plastics technology, strong technical aptitude, and the willingness to handle chemical raw materials responsibly. Physical resilience is necessary for material handling and occasional use of respiratory protection. This position offers a permanent contract, varied responsibilities in a successful medium-sized company, fair compensation, and predictable, flexible working hours (6:00 AM – 4:00 PM), providing stability and professional growth within a supportive team environment.

Education
Qualification in the chemical, process engineering, or plastics technology field (e.g., Process Mechanic, Chemical Laboratory Assistant, Chemical Production Specialist, Chemical Operator)
Experience
- Professional experience in chemical, process engineering, or plastics technology production environments
- Experience in handling chemical raw materials responsibly
- Experience or willingness to be trained in measurement technology (e.g., temperature and pressure monitoring)
- Professional experience adhering to strict safety, environmental, and hygiene standards
