Job Summary

This role requires an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to serve as the key electrical resource for industrial automation projects. You will be responsible for designing robust electrical systems and ensuring seamless integration of automation technology, maintaining high standards for safety and reliability. Key daily tasks include creating detailed electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and cable plans using EPLAN P8, selecting and integrating electrical components (sensors, actuators, controls), and generating electrical Bills of Materials (E-BOM). You must ensure all designs comply with safety norms, CE guidelines, and relevant regulations (e.g., IEC). Collaboration with PLC programmers and automation specialists is essential, as is providing on-site support for installation, testing, and troubleshooting. The ideal candidate possesses a relevant technical background, deep proficiency in EPLAN P8, and the ability to communicate complex technical topics clearly in both German and English.
