Job Summary
The Municipality of Saarwellingen is seeking a dedicated Grant Funding Manager to join the Finance Department, focusing on securing and managing external funding for community projects. This role is crucial for financial planning, involving the acquisition of grants, preparation of applications, and continuous oversight of ongoing funding measures. The manager will be responsible for developing subsidy and funding options, providing expert advice on grant law to specialized departments and political committees, and conducting comprehensive funding controlling. Key requirements include an advanced qualification as an Administrative Specialist (Verwaltungsfachwirt) or eligibility for the higher-level civil service career path in general administration. The ideal candidate must be reliable, possess strong communication and negotiation skills, and be prepared to attend meetings outside standard working hours. This is a permanent, full-time position offering competitive public sector compensation (A 10 / EG 9c TVöD) and flexible, family-friendly working hours.
