Job Summary

This Development Engineer role focuses on creating innovative design solutions and concepts for critical turbine components, specifically within the Large Gas Turbines engineering division. The successful candidate will utilize current 3D CAD systems, ideally Siemens NX, to develop new parts and repair solutions. Daily tasks involve evaluating turbine component designs based on functional requirements, manufacturing feasibility, and cost-effectiveness. You will be responsible for generating detailed product definitions, including 3D geometry models, PMIs, 2D drawings, and Bill of Materials (BOMs) within ERP (SAP) and PLM (Teamcenter) systems. This is a central, interdisciplinary role, requiring you to act as the primary contact for repair and product development teams, advising on mechanical design standards. The position requires a university degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering and demonstrable experience in complex mechanical design and CAD modeling, along with fluent German and English skills to collaborate effectively with international teams across Asia and the Americas. The role offers the chance to drive decarbonization efforts within the Gas Services sector.
