Job Summary

This permanent, full-time position involves supporting the Federal Construction division of the Saxon State Property and Construction Management (SIB) in Leipzig, focusing on building measures for the German Federal Armed Forces and civilian federal institutions. The successful candidate will manage and guide construction projects from initiation to handover, ensuring project goals are met regarding cost, schedule, and quality. Day-to-day tasks include providing client-side and project management services, preparing simple planning documents, conducting tendering procedures (VOB, VgV), and supervising external engineering firms and construction tasks. The role requires expertise in electrical, information technology, and security systems advising users, strong negotiation skills, and adherence to public building law and technical regulations. Required Skills

Education

University degree (Diplom, Bachelor FH or BA) in Electrical Engineering/Information Technology or a comparable qualification

Experience

  • Professional experience in project development and guidance from start to handover
  • Experience in assessing and optimizing technical solutions
  • Desirable: Professional experience in the public sector or an engineering office in the described area of responsibility
