Job Summary

This role seeks an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to contribute to the construction of naval vessels for a leading German shipyard based in Hamburg. The position involves participating in the conceptual development and selection of crucial electrical systems, creating detailed technical specifications, and managing necessary documentation for construction and testing. A key responsibility is coordinating with internal and external interfaces, including suppliers, to ensure seamless system integration onboard the ship. The successful candidate will also support rigorous testing and acceptance procedures and oversee the technical implementation during manufacturing. Candidates must hold an engineering degree in a relevant field like Electrical Engineering, Energy and Building Technology, or Mechatronics, and possess several years of experience in electrical design for large projects, preferably within naval shipbuilding. Strong communication skills and proficiency in both German and English are essential for success in this demanding, high-standard environment.
