Job Summary

This role as IT Workgroup Lead involves taking primary responsibility for the successful application development within the IT department of the Service Center for Rural Development and Agricultural Funding (SLA). The successful candidate will manage the planning, organization, and distribution of tasks for the workgroup, ensuring efficient operation. Key responsibilities include providing both disciplinary and technical leadership to staff, managing personnel development, conducting performance reviews, and overseeing resource planning. The position requires a degree in Informatics or related field, coupled with at least three years of professional experience developing complex IT projects. While initial leadership experience is beneficial, a strong sense of responsibility, initiative, and excellent communication skills are essential. Required Skills

Education

Experience

  • Professional experience in application development
  • Initial leadership experience in the technical coordination of projects or teams (advantageous)
