Job Summary

This full-time, permanent position with the City of Osnabrück involves ensuring the operational readiness and continuous development of the city's traffic light and control systems. The technician will handle personnel scheduling for daily maintenance and organize on-call duty, acting as the deputy operational manager for traffic control technology. Key responsibilities include independently performing program modifications and updates on complex microprocessor-controlled central systems, specifically managing data within systems like Sitraffic Scala. You will be responsible for the modernization, maintenance, supply, and troubleshooting of various control units, ranging from relay technology to advanced microprocessor systems (e.g., Siemens C800V, C900). A successful candidate must hold a State-certified Technician degree in a relevant field like Electrical Engineering or Traffic Engineering, possess strong technical understanding, and be proficient in modern measurement and network technology. Required Skills

Education
