Job Summary

This role is for an experienced Electrical and Automation Technician specializing in special purpose machinery within the mechanical engineering sector. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing control, drive, and safety concepts according to relevant guidelines, and creating detailed electrical designs using EPLAN P8, including wiring diagrams and parts lists. The technician will be heavily involved in PLC programming using Siemens S7 in the TIA Portal and commissioning machines and systems internally. Key duties also involve providing technical support to project management regarding feasibility and cost assessment of customer requirements, offering customer support for malfunctions (primarily remote), and occasionally traveling for on-site commissioning or troubleshooting. The ideal candidate must possess a relevant technical qualification and strong expertise in EPLAN P8 and SIMATIC programming tools.
