Job Summary

This critical role contributes directly to the supply and system security of a major high-voltage transmission grid, transporting electricity for 29 million people. The specialist is responsible for controlling the transmission network and managing all switching operations using a specialized control system. Day-to-day tasks include de-energizing operational equipment according to strict regulations, conducting switching actions, performing commissioning tests, and maintaining detailed documentation of the network status and switching reports. The role also involves handling fault and warning messages and coordinating the deployment of operational and on-call personnel, especially during major incidents. Candidates must possess a qualification as a Technician or Master Craftsman in Electrical Engineering, demonstrate strong communication skills, a high degree of responsibility, and resilience. The position offers a comprehensive 12-month onboarding program with mentorship and training to ensure full preparation for the operational service in the control center.
