The successful candidate will join Straßen.NRW, a central mobility service provider in North Rhine-Westphalia, focusing on keeping the region mobile, digital, and safe. This role involves comprehensive project work across all planning phases for complex road and cycle path infrastructure projects. Day-to-day responsibilities include coordinating with specialist authorities and associations, preparing and managing engineering contracts, and supervising external engineering firms. Furthermore, the engineer will be responsible for drafting public-law agreements. Key qualifications include a degree in Civil Engineering or a comparable technical field, strong organizational skills, structured problem-solving abilities, and excellent communication and teamwork capabilities. This is a crucial role contributing to the development and safety of state and federal roads, and high-speed cycle paths in Germany's most populous state.
