Job Summary

The Information Security Officer will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining the information security framework for the Rems-Murr District Office. Day-to-day tasks include creating conceptual and strategic guidelines for information security concepts, ensuring compliance with BSI IT-Grundschutz standards (including 200-1 through 200-4), and managing the ongoing development of the Information Security Management System (ISMS), specifically focusing on Business Continuity Management (BCM). The role involves serving as the central point of contact for all employees regarding security questions, documenting and assisting in handling security incidents, and running E-Learning programs and training to raise employee awareness of security threats. Candidates must possess a degree in Informatics, IT Security, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, or an IT vocational qualification combined with relevant professional experience.
