Job Summary

This permanent, full-time role as an Avionics Technician is based at Airbus Defence and Space in Manching, offering a secure career path within the aerospace industry and highly competitive, above-tariff compensation. The successful candidate will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and modification of various aircraft, with a preference for experience on the Tornado weapon system. Key daily tasks involve executing maintenance and repair operations according to detailed workbooks and electronic documentation, installing modifications and retrofits, performing cable work, and handling the de- and reassembly of aircraft components. Furthermore, the role requires fault diagnosis, precise adjustment work, and supporting electrical, avionics, and mechanical functional tests. Applicants must possess completed vocational training in Electrical Engineering, Avionics, or Mechatronics, coupled with professional experience in electrical systems, manufacturing, and aerospace. Proficiency in both German and English is mandatory, along with strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently.
