Job Summary

This role involves contributing to the new development and enhancement of technologically advanced products within the fields of medical technology, laboratory technology, measurement technology, and sensor technology. Key responsibilities include developing physical concepts and solutions, particularly in optics, light guiding, optical sensor technology, and spectroscopy. The engineer will plan, execute, evaluate, and document experimental investigations and measurement campaigns, support the development of customer-specific applications, and translate technical requirements within interdisciplinary teams. Furthermore, the position requires creating technical documentation and risk-based assessments for product development, and optimizing development and testing processes in close collaboration with production and quality assurance. Candidates should possess a degree in Physics, Optics, Engineering Sciences, or a comparable technical/natural science field, along with very good German and English skills (C1 level).
