Job Summary

This role is for an Engineer specializing in Proof of Concept (POC) In-Vitro Diagnostic (IVD) Development within the Life Science sector. The core responsibilities involve independently executing complex test programs and individual experiments, focusing on the systematic evaluation of materials and formulations impacting diagnostic assay performance. A key aspect of the role is the independent planning of experimental series compliant with stringent regulatory requirements, followed by meticulous documentation and evaluation of results in detailed protocols and reports. The successful candidate will also be responsible for the technical coordination of activities across different working groups and presenting findings in project meetings. Candidates must possess a degree in Biotechnology or Biochemistry (or equivalent technical qualification) and demonstrate professional experience in IVD assay R&D. Crucially, fluency in both German and English is required for effective communication and documentation.
