Job Summary

This challenging role involves the innovative and responsible design of electrical systems, primarily for special-purpose vehicles. Day-to-day tasks include defining the electrical layout, creating detailed connection plans, circuit diagrams, and device plans. The engineer is responsible for selecting appropriate electrical components, such as relays, switches, connectors, and cables, and developing precise assembly and interface specifications. A critical component of the job is managing drawings and articles within a Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) system. To qualify, candidates must have successfully completed a degree or vocational training as a State-Certified Technician in Electrical Engineering. Applicants should bring initial or several years of professional experience in electrical design, specifically using modern CAE systems like EPLAN or E3. Knowledge of control cabinet construction is advantageous.
