Job Summary

This role involves acting as a Reliability, Availability, and Maintainability (RAM/RAMS) expert, primarily focusing on FACTS (Flexible AC Transmission Systems) and HVDC (High-Voltage Direct Current) plants. Day-to-day tasks include analyzing tender specifications for RAM requirements, developing reliability models using Fault Tree Analysis (FTA) and Failure Mode, Effects, and Criticality Analysis (FMECA), and calculating project-specific risks. The expert will create necessary RAM documentation for both bidding and execution phases, while also providing technical consulting for system design, component selection, and maintenance concept creation to ensure RAM requirements are met. Key qualifications include a university degree in Electrical Engineering or Power Engineering, professional experience in the field, and fluency in both German and English. Basic knowledge of high-voltage equipment, testing, and HVDC/HVAC systems is highly valued, along with experience in project management, particularly in large-scale export projects.
