Job Summary

This role seeks an ambitious Materials Engineer specializing in Plastics Technology to drive the development and optimization of polymer materials for advanced technical applications. Day-to-day responsibilities include selecting and evaluating appropriate plastics for products and components, performing rigorous material testing, damage analysis, and lifespan assessments using methods such as Differential Scanning Calorimetry (DSC), Thermogravimetric Analysis (TGA), and tensile testing. A key aspect of the job involves close collaboration with interdisciplinary teams, both nationally and internationally, and contributing to the material-side implementation of sustainability strategies. Candidates must hold a degree in Materials or Plastics Engineering and possess fundamental knowledge of polymer materials, compounding, and processing techniques. Success requires a structured, innovative, and team-oriented approach, coupled with good proficiency in both German and English, to help clients advance technology to the next level.
