This role seeks an Environmental and Energy Systems Engineer to join the public property experts for the state of Rhineland-Pfalz, focusing on achieving a climate-neutral state administration. Day-to-day responsibilities involve critically assessing the extensive property portfolio regarding sustainability and ecological balance (life cycle assessment). The engineer will develop comprehensive concepts for energy-efficient maintenance and renovation projects, ensuring alignment with climate protection goals. Furthermore, the role requires actively selecting, prioritizing, and implementing key climate protection measures across various properties, including military facilities, hospitals, and universities. The ideal candidate holds a relevant university degree in fields like Energy Technology, Electrical Engineering, or Building Services, and ideally possesses professional experience in planning measures to reduce greenhouse gas emissions in technical facilities and buildings. - Professional experience with sustainability strategies and evaluation (e.g., BNB, DGNB) (Beneficial)
