Job Summary

This role is critical for a major Hamburg housing corporation, focusing on managing the full lifecycle of real estate transactions, including acquisitions of land, existing properties, and project developments. Day-to-day responsibilities involve scouting potential real estate offers, engaging with brokers and sellers, and conducting thorough economic viability assessments. A core function is the independent steering of complex Due Diligence (DD) processes, requiring coordination with internal and external service providers and adherence to strict deadlines. The specialist will be responsible for expert valuation of property purchase prices, scrutinizing all property law aspects, and drafting and negotiating contractual content for purchase and hereditary building rights agreements. Furthermore, the role involves clarifying public law issues such as building burdens and development matters. Success in this position requires a background in business, real estate, or law, coupled with several years of experience in DD processes and acquisitions, strong negotiation skills, and a basic understanding of construction procedures. This is an opportunity to contribute directly to urban quality and climate protection goals within a socially responsible organization.
