Job Summary
This Senior Engineer role focuses on pioneering process development within an interdisciplinary expert team, driving innovation in Advanced Packaging for a leading technology company in measurement and control. The core responsibility involves optimizing the complex interplay between microplating, photolithography, and wet-chemical surface treatment. Day-to-day tasks include developing, qualifying, and optimizing high-precision galvanic manufacturing processes, specifically managing the challenging deposition of fine conductor paths on large formats while ensuring maximum process reliability and homogeneity. The ideal candidate holds a degree in a relevant engineering or science field, such as Electroplating Technology or Microsystems Engineering, and possesses several years of practical experience in microplating, ideally within PCB or microelectronics manufacturing. Success requires deep electrochemical process understanding, hands-on problem-solving skills, proficiency in process data analysis (e.g., Minitab), and strong professional communication capabilities, including in English.
