Job Summary

This role is designed for an experienced Electrical Engineer specializing in embedded systems testing, contributing to the development of cutting-edge semiconductor manufacturing technology at ZEISS. You will be responsible for defining, developing, and implementing robust test concepts, with a strong focus on standardizing automated system tests such as Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) and Software-in-the-Loop (SIL) across various platforms. A key part of the job involves building new End-to-End test systems and integrating them seamlessly into the existing DevOps processes. You will also define crucial quality standards, monitor effectiveness using key metrics, and coordinate both internal staff and external service providers involved in test implementation. Success requires a technical degree in Electrical Engineering or Informatics, extensive background in embedded software testing frameworks, and a mandatory ISTQB Foundation Level certification, alongside strong analytical capabilities and proficiency in German and English.
