Job Summary
This role involves organizing and managing application processing within a dedicated unit, focusing on the digitization of the German educational sector. The Specialist Consultant will be responsible for establishing and leading reporting systems, conducting and evaluating controlling activities for application management, and developing a comprehensive knowledge database. A key component of the job is serving as a Product Owner for the online admissions platform, Hochschulstart, defining requirements for its continuous development, content, and functionality. Day-to-day tasks include processing standard and special applications (e.g., for professionally qualified applicants, second-degree seekers, hardship cases), handling correspondence, complaints, and providing expert consultation to staff and applicants, ensuring compliance with legal frameworks and quality standards. The ideal candidate possesses a university degree, strong IT skills (MS Office), excellent communication, and a proactive, service-oriented approach focused on efficient administrative processes and high customer satisfaction.
