Job Summary

This role seeks a self-assured and reliable Shift Leader to oversee operations at an established biomass heating power plant, contributing significantly to sustainable energy supply through the thermal utilization of waste wood. Operating 24/7/365, the facility generates both electricity and process heat. The Shift Leader assumes full shift responsibility within a continuous 3-shift system, ensuring safe and efficient plant operation. Key responsibilities include monitoring and controlling fully automated systems from the control room, conducting regular plant inspections, and managing critical processes such as boiler operation, steam generation, and turbine operation. Candidates must possess training as a Power Plant Operator or Boiler Attendant and have professional experience in power plant environments, preferably those utilizing wood, biomass, or coal. Proficiency in reading process diagrams and familiarity with industrial control systems like Siemens S7 or Rockwell are mandatory.
