Job Summary

This role is for the Head of the E-Textiles & Acoustics Technology Center at one of Europe's largest textile research institutions. The successful candidate will be responsible for the comprehensive leadership and strategic development of the center, focusing on innovative Smart Textiles and novel acoustic systems. Daily tasks involve independently managing complex research projects, coordinating collaboration across internal and external partners, and driving the advancement of research from basic principles to prototype manufacturing. A key responsibility is project acquisition, including securing, managing, and reporting on public and industrial contracts both nationally and internationally, while expanding crucial networks in science, industry, and politics. The ideal candidate holds a degree, preferably a PhD, in Physics, Electrical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline, and demonstrates proven leadership and strong communication skills in both German and English. Required Skills

Education
