Job Summary

This role involves the critical commissioning and testing of rail vehicles in Salzgitter. Day-to-day responsibilities include performing rigorous vehicle tests according to instructions and independently establishing the full electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic functionality of the vehicles. A core duty is complex troubleshooting and diagnosis, requiring the ability to analyze faults using detailed circuit diagrams, functional plans, and technical specifications, covering electrics, pneumatics, and even software/climate control systems. Success in this position requires a completed vocational qualification in Electrical Engineering or as an Electrician, coupled with the ability to operate complex systems autonomously. Candidates must be prepared to work under strict EHS regulations, often dealing with electrically active components, and sometimes navigating challenging environments, including confined spaces, working at heights up to 4 meters, and occasionally working outdoors.
