Construction Manager, Utility Network Development | Bauleiter (m/w/d) Netzbau

Job Summary

This role requires a highly motivated Construction Manager to oversee utility network development projects. Day-to-day responsibilities include comprehensive construction site management, encompassing personnel planning, technical team leadership, and disciplinary oversight of staff and subcontractors. The manager will be responsible for coordinating equipment deployment, monitoring construction progress, leading coordination meetings, and ensuring strict adherence to quality and cost controls. A key technical component involves preparing measurements and calculating supplementary offers for clients, alongside providing expert technical consultation. Ideal candidates must hold a degree in Civil Engineering or a comparable technical qualification, such as a Master Craftsman certification in relevant fields. Prior experience in underground cable construction (Kabeltiefbau) is highly beneficial, coupled with a strong understanding of relevant German construction regulations (VOB, BaustellV). Success in this role demands strong entrepreneurial thinking, self-reliance, negotiation skills, and team capability.
