Job Summary

This role involves joining the Operations Technology Team at the Computing Center of the Bundeswehr University Munich, focusing on the setup, operation, and ongoing development of the campus-wide network and server infrastructure. The technician will handle critical tasks such as configuring switches, performing professional cabling, administering the data network, and optimizing the WLAN infrastructure. Day-to-day activities include managing user requests and troubleshooting via a ticket system, documenting processes, and providing expert consultation on network matters. Key qualifications include a relevant vocational degree (e.g., IT Systems Electronics Technician) and at least three years of professional experience in network operations. Proficiency in specific tools like Aruba OS-CX, HP ProCurve, and Intelligent Management Center (IMC) is required. Required Skills

Education
