Job Summary

This crucial role involves taking technical and disciplinary responsibility for the Analysis department, focusing heavily on DNA Extraction and PCR Analysis at Eurofins GeneScan, a competence center for GMO detection. A primary daily task is the establishment and supervision of automated PCR pipetting workflows using Liquid Handling Workstations. The manager is expected to drive continuous process optimization concerning quality, efficiency, and turnaround times, while also ensuring the daily operational control of the service laboratory alongside other laboratory heads. Key requirements include a degree in Natural Sciences (such as Molecular Biology or Genetics), several years of professional experience with leadership responsibilities, strong assertiveness, and high social competence.
