Job Summary

This role involves joining an interdisciplinary team focused on bringing complex industrial plants, particularly in the Chemical, Refinery, and Recycling sectors, to life. The Instrumentation and Control Engineer will be responsible for the full project lifecycle of Electrical, Measurement, and Control (EIC) systems, including planning, projecting, and overseeing commissioning. Day-to-day tasks include creating precise circuit diagrams, cable lists, and technical specifications, selecting and dimensioning sensors, actuators, and control components, and ensuring compliance with critical safety standards like IEC, SIL, and ATEX. The ideal candidate holds a degree in Electrical or Automation Engineering and brings multi-year professional experience in EIC technology, coupled with proficiency in CAE systems like EPLAN or COMOS. This position offers the chance to apply specialized expertise from initial feasibility studies through to final commissioning in a future-oriented environment.

Education

Completed degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Technology, or a comparable qualification

Experience

  • Multi-year experience in Instrumentation and Control (EIC) technology
  • Experience ideally gained in Chemical, Energy, or Plant Construction sectors
  • Professional experience in planning, projecting, and commissioning EIC systems
  • Experience coordinating with internal departments and external partners
