Job Summary

This role is for an experienced Chemical Production Supervisor, acting as the operative team leader and deputy department head within a globally leading chemical company based in Wiesbaden. Day-to-day responsibilities include organizing and overseeing the manufacturing of chemical products, managing shift and vacation schedules, and ensuring seamless information flow across teams and adjacent departments. A core function involves the operation and monitoring of complex production plants, including identifying and resolving malfunctions and carrying out minor repairs. Candidates must ensure strict adherence to Quality, Safety, and Environmental (QSE) standards, particularly Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP). The ideal candidate holds a completed technical vocational qualification (such as Chemical Technician) and the Industrial Master Chemist certification, coupled with several years of relevant production experience, preferably including initial leadership exposure.
