Job Summary

This role involves performing crucial mechanical material testing within a dedicated laboratory setting for a global leader in power plant construction based in Mülheim an der Ruhr. Day-to-day responsibilities include operating creep testing facilities and conducting various destructive tests such as tensile and notched bar impact tests. Candidates with specialized experience will also perform cyclic fatigue tests (LCF) using servo-hydraulic testing machines. Key qualifications include a minimum of three years of professional experience in materials testing, coupled with a relevant technical apprenticeship (e.g., Industrial Mechanic, Locksmith) and further training as a Technician or Industrial Master in Metal. Required Skills

Education

Experience

  • Experience in destructive testing of metallic materials.
